After looking at many other venues in the Capital Region and Hudson Valley, when we toured the State Room we immediately fell in love! The package is amazing with so many things included that you don't see at other places. And the space is so stunning and unique- we were thrilled to have both our ceremony and reception there. From our first meeting Tom told us that he would treat us like his son and daughter and he 100% did! Especially during the pandemic, Tom was so great and flexible. At our request he moved our date from October to June to make sure we were comfortable and happy on the day of our wedding. To say we had a perfect wedding day at the State Room is an understatement. On the day of the wedding we were able to focus on our friends and family instead of the small details. Tom took us to all of our photos in his amazing classic car and was so accommodating. Our guests raved about the food!! There was barely a moment when they weren’t eating. Renee was so fantastic, she made sure everything was perfect for us- from helping to bustle my dress to making sure we ate, she was amazing. A month later and our friends and family are still talking about what a great venue it was. We made the best decision choosing the State Room for our wedding and it was the best day ever. Thank you so much Tom, Renee, and the State Room staff!
